An amazing vista over the Tungnaá river near Landmannalaugar in the southern highlands of Iceland. Road F208 is one of Iceland's highland roads that are only open for a few weeks of the year and only to four wheel drive vehicles. The luminous green moss is characteristic of the Icelandic mountains and seems impossible to capture on film accurately. This panorama was taken with a Nikon 990 digital camera. The thirteen photos were then joined using The Panorama Factory software, with final adjustments made in Photoshop. |
